William W. “Billy” Weismiller

William W. “Billy” Weismiller, 49 of Tipton died Friday, January 17, 2020 at his residence.  Billy was born in Tipton on July 10, 1970 to Harold William & Donna (Burris) Weismiller.  His father preceded him in death last year and his mother, Donna Tucker survives.  He is also survived by his wife, Amy Coar.

Billy was a Tipton High School graduate in the Class of 1988.  He was a mechanic/shop foreman at Baumgartner & Co. Asphalt Services.  Riding his Harley motorcycle, football and collecting guns were some of his passions as well as working puzzles.  His dogs Daisy and Bubbles were also an important part of his life.

Survivors besides his mother, Donna and his wife, Amy Coar include his daughter, Mackenzie Coar; his siblings, Harold Weismiller, Jr. and wife Heather Raines, Tipton, Lisa Tragesser, Tipton, Andrew J. Tragesser and wife Michele, Tipton, and Bridget Perkins and husband Dennis, Windfall.  Billy is also survived by nieces and nephews Skyler Weismiller, Dalton Weismiller, Devin Weismiller, Justin Shrock, Trenton Shrock, Brooklin Shrock, Tanner Morris, Emma Hill, Jacob Tragesser, Lindsey Swank, Cash Lamberg, Kelli Lamberg, Korine Abernathy, Gavven Hinds, William and Marlene Wolford.  Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Karla Wolford.

Funeral services for Billy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Chad Moss presiding.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home for an education fund to help his daughter Mackenzie with college expenses.
