Thomas Jeffrey Luce, Jr., 27 of Sharpsville died August 1, 2013. He was born October 13, 1985 in Vernon, Connecticut to Thomas Luce, Sr. and Daryl (Washburn) Luce. He married Tabitha Watson on August 2, 2008 and she survives.
Tom worked in the security department at Chrysler in Kokomo. He had belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tom was a graduate of Ellington (Connecticut) High School in 2004. He enjoyed sports including football, basketball, putt putt golf and bowling. Tom was also an avid poker enthusiast. He especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his dog, Bruiser.
Survivors besides his wife Tabitha include his mother, Daryl Stratford and husband William, Manchester, Connecticut and his father, Thomas Luce, Sr. and wife Melisa, Ellington, Connecticut; siblings Jessika Wendus, Ron Wendus and Tiffany Luce; his in-laws, Donnie & Charlotte Watson, Tipton and a sister-in-law, Katrina Edwards and husband Chad, Noblesville.
Tom's funeral will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher Shocklee presiding. Burial will be in Connecticut. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
