Tara L. Ritter

Tara L. Ritter, 54 of Tipton passed away at 1:57 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Indiana University North in Carmel. She was born on July 15, 1967 in Derry Township, Pennsylvania. On March 25, 1989 she married James Ritter. The couple enjoyed 28 years of marriage before James’ passing on September 29, 2017.

Tara worked at McDonald’s in Tipton and was a homemaker. She was a 1985 graduate of Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida. After high school, she continued her education and earned an Associate Degree at Manatee Community College. Tara volunteered at Tipton Elementary School for many years. In her spare time she liked to paint and play online video games.

Tara is survived by her daughter, Beth Ritter of Tipton; her parents, Bill and Helen Seagers of Bradenton, Florida; a sister, Pam Jordan and husband, Mitchell of Sarasota, Florida.

The family has chosen not to have any funeral services. Tara will be laid to rest in Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Pennsylvania at a later date. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
