Talue Ragan

Talue K. RaganTalue K. Ragan, 75 of Atlanta died at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.  On August 11, 1937 she was born in Tipton County to Allen and Mildred (Law) Conaway. She married Carl R. Ragan on October 5, 1956 and he survives.Talue was a bookkeeper for Citizens National Bank for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She was also a homemaker and loved to babysit her grandkids. She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church where she volunteered preparing family dinners. Talue was a 1955 graduate of  Tipton High School and had been a Cub scout den mother.Surviving besides her husband Carl are three sons, Tim Ragan and Kathy Creasy of Atlanta, Bryan Ragan and wife Susan of Tipton, and John Ragan and wife Barbara of Atlanta; nine grandchildren Carisa Ragan, Cliff Ragan and wife Ashley, Mathew Cook and wife Danielle, Jacob Cook and wife Casey, Trisha Gordon and husband Ben, Jennifer Ragan, Aimee Ragan, Blake Ragan and Erik Ragan. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister Vajen Moore.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Brown presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the Atlanta Christian Church, 200 E.
