Steven A. SchroederSteven A. Schroeder, 56, Tipton, died at 11:33 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born February 14, 1953 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Billie R. & JoAnn (Finchum) Schroeder.  He married Kelly Ball on April 29, 1999 and she survives.Steve was the Vice-President of BR Schroeder & Sons, Inc. in Tipton.  He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling.  Steve served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-74 during the Vietnam War.Survivors besides his wife include his mother and step-father, JoAnn & Mac McCammon, Tipton; four children, Ashley Ann Schroeder, Cassie Aileen Schroeder, Steven Allan Schroeder, Jr., and Bailey Marie Schroeder, all of Tipton; two step-daughters, Kelsey Chianne Ball, Broad Ripple and Lindsey Nicole Ball, Tipton; three sisters and one brother, Carla Jane Fague and husband Scott, Tipton, Timothy L. Schroeder and wife Gloria, Tipton, Beth Ann Wallace and husband Mark, Clearwater, Florida and Paula Suzanne Hawkins and husband Rich, Tipton; one grandson, Dylan James Cast.He was preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Richard Schroeder, and his father, Billie R. Schroeder.Steve's funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, at the Trinity Wesleyan Church, 3021 West St. Rd. 28, Tipton, with Rev. Doug Slack and Rev. Keith Moreen presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, all at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton County Foundation, P.O. Box 412, Tipton, Indiana, 46072, to help youth sports in Tipton County.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
