Shirley Ann Chenoweth

October 6, 1945 — December 23, 2018

Shirley Ann Chenoweth, 73 of Sharpsville died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on October 6, 1945 in Muncie, Indiana to Eddie Lee & Lizzie Merle (Sneed) Sneed.  On June 26, 1972 she married David L. Chenoweth and he survives.

Shirley worked at Delco Electronics for 2 years and then Hills Department Store for 20 years.  She was a member of the first graduating class at Muncie Southside High School, Class of 1963.  She loved to travel (specially cruising), raising roses and collecting Shirley Temple items.  She had a large collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia.  Shirley loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Survivors besides her husband David includes two daughters, Michelle Christine Miller, Columbia City and Robin Colleen Gifford, Sharpsville; two step-children, Michael Jeffery Chenoweth and wife Kathy, Galveston and Gregory Lee Chenoweth, Kokomo; one brother, Roy Sneed and wife Claudia, Dunkirk.  Shirley is also survived by seven grandchildren, John Miller, Markus Miller, Jacob Gifford, Courtney Crider, Carly Chenoweth, Wren Chenoweth and Koda Chenoweth; three great-grandchildren, Hayden Miller, Bryce Miller and Lukas Miller; special friends Linda Cox and Robin Hayes.

Funeral services for Shirley will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Lafferty presiding.  Entombment will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 – 2:00 Saturday at the funeral home.
