Sharon Rose Roush, 76 of Sheridan and a former Tipton resident, died at 10:35 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born September 18, 1938 in Tipton to Charles & Gladys (Spay) Malott. She married Glen F. Fecher on September 30, 1956 and he preceded her in death. On August 3, 1980 she married Donald Roush and he also preceded her in death.
Sharon had worked as a nurse aide at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton, Arcadia Care Center and Manor House in Noblesville. She was a graduate of Tipton High School, a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, VFW and Moose Lodge.
Sharon is survived by four daughters, Glenda Reeher and husband Larry, Kokomo, Rebecca Ellis, Tipton, Vivian Walters and husband Richard, Sheridan and Shelly Garst and husband Donny, Arcadia; 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Richard Malott and one sister, Darlene Malott.
Funeral services for Sharon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Bishop Rich Barker presiding and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
