Sarah J. Hotz

Sarah J. HotzSarah J. Hotz, 67, Tipton, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.  She was born March 12, 1939 in Loogootee, Indiana, to Matthew & Zola (Mattingly) Butcher.  On June 25, 1960, she married John R. Hotz and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipton and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. Besides her husband John she is survived by two sons, Richard Hotz, Bellevue, Nebraska and David Hotz, Morristown, Tennessee; one daughter, Laurie Schillinger, Noblesville; two sisters, Mary Riggins and Harriet Byrer, both of Raglesville, Indiana; 10 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 29 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with a Wake service at 7:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 9445 Delegates Row, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46240.
