Ruth Mildred "Millie"
CampbellRuth Mildred Campbell, 92 of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and formerly
of Tipton County died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Florida. She was
born on February 7, 1920 to Earl M. and Mabel (Dawson) Foster. She
married Charles R. Campbell on December 30, 1945, and he preceded her in
death on March 12, 1993.Mildred was a bookkeeper and secretary. She was the best mother and
grandmother on earth. After graduation from Sharpsville H.S. she moved
to Kokomo where she attended Kokomo Business College. She worked for
several insurance companies before her marriage at which time she worked
with her husband, had her family and continued to work side by side with
her husband, son and daughter at Campbell Seed. She was a member of the
Normanda Christian Church, Eastern Star Sharpsville and the Rural
Homemakers.Survivors include her three children, Dr. Julie Campbell, (Wayne
Johanning, deceased, Jeff Morse) of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Susie
Hettmansperger (Robert) of Wabash, and Charles "Scott" (Joan) Campbell
of Noblesville. Five grandchildren, Lori Hittle (Jeremy), Dr. Charee
Condict (Dr. Kevin), Christy Conaway (Aaron), Carrie Capshaw (Lucky),
Charles Ryan Campbell (Andrea); and 10 great grandchildren, Maverick,
Oliver, Raleigh Conaway; Lakin Hittle; Dallas & Parker Capshaw and
Calvin, Francie and Campbell Cami Condict; and Charlie Campbell and
baby boy Campbell coming in May. Also surviving is niece Marcia Rood
(Lester), nephews Randy Foster (Dotty), Brent Foster (Ruth) and Bill
MacNeil (Barb).She was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Gerald Foster and
Bernice Foster Reese. One niece, Jane MacNeil West (Ralph) proceeded
her in death.Mildred lived on the family farm and wintered in Ft. Myers Beach
until 2011 when she became a full time Florida resident with daughter
Julie. She loved Florida and her home there. Her other children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren visited often. She was always
thankful for her the many blessing that God had given her and her
family.The family will receive friends Friday, February 1, from 4:00 - 6:30
p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held
at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Harlow and Steve Brown officiating.
