Rosemary Wittman

Rosemary WittmanRosemary Wittman, 83, Tipton, died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor, Tipton.  She was born on January 31, 1929 in Tipton County to Harry M. and Marie (Glotzback) Wittman.Rosemary worked along side her sister on the family farm for several years, completing tasks learned from their father.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipton, was baptized on February 3, 1929 and completed her confirmation on May 8, 1939.  Rosemary graduated from the St. Joseph Academy in 1948.She was never married and had no children.  Rosemary was predeceased in 1989 by her sister, Dolores.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipton with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.  Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 10:00 a.m.Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 340 Mill Street, Tipton, Indiana, 46072.
