Ronald G. Reynolds

Ronald G. Reynolds, 76 of Tipton died Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born in Gary, Indiana on September 8, 1948 to Theodore and Bernice (Spack) Reynolds. Ronald married his sweetheart, Barbara Lois McClure on March 1, 1969, spending 54 years in matrimony until her death in 2023.

Ron was a Tool and Die maker, working for over 30 years at Steel Parts Manufacturing in Tipton. He was member of the Crown Point Masonic Lodge #150, the Scottish Rite and Shriners. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited. Ron spent considerable time watching the NHRA drag racing events through the summer racing season. He was thrilled when the Christmas season arrived as he played Santa at multiple events for 25 years, watching the children glow with excitement.

Survivors include his son, Michael Reynolds and wife, Desiree of Walton, a grandson Wyatt Reynolds and a sister Debbie Bush and husband Bob in Crown Point. Ron was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and a son Ron Reynolds, Jr.

No services are planned. Young-Nichols Funeral home is assisting with Ron’s arrangements.
