Ronald E. ChristmanRonald E. Christman, 59, Tipton, died at 2:08 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton.  He was born August 25, 1946, in Opelousas, Louisiana to Robert E. & Marian (Johnson) Christman.  On December 31, 1969 he married Robin Cochran and she survives.He was the former owner of Christman Building Supplies in Tipton and an active member of Kemp United Methodist Church.  He was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge in Tipton.  Ron was a 1969 graduate of Depauw University and a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.Survivors besides his wife Robin include three sons, Robert Christman, Carmel, Tim Christman, Centerville, Ohio, and David Christman, Indianapolis; one brother, Robert Christman, Cincinnati; his mother and step-father, Marian & B. Milton Durham, Zionsville; three grandchildren.His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 340 Mill Street, Tipton, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 17 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton.Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N.
