Robert E. QuearRobert E. Quear, 78, Bloomington, Minnesota, died
Friday, August 31, 2007 in Edina, Minnesota. He was born July 1, 1929 in
Tipton to Harry S. & Elizabeth (Dunham) Quear. On June 26, 1954 he
married Iva Rose Morris and she survives.He was a 1948 graduate of Tipton High School and
worked as an industrial engineer for 35 years until his retirement in
1999. He was self-employed and provided commercial janitorial services.
Robert was a member of Wooddale Christian Church and was a Sunday school
pre-school teacher for several years. He enjoyed fishing with his sons
and meeting people as a greeter at Sams Club. He served in the U.S. Navy
from 1948-1952 and was stationed in Balboa, C.Z.Survivors besides his wife Iva Rose include one son,
David A. Quear, Bloomington, Minnesota; one daughter, LeAnn Glass and
husband Jerome, Bloomington, Minnesota; two brothers, Edward O. Quear,
Tipton and Harry C. Quear, Mooresburg, Tennessee; one sister, Betty F.
Beopple, Willingboro, New Jersey; one grandson, Jerome Glass III. He was
preceded in death by one brother, Audley W. Quear, and one sister, Pearl
A. Sullivan.A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 15 at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton with Rev. Eric Smith
presiding and burial to follow. Military rites will be conducted by the
American Legion Post 46 of Tipton.Memorial contributions may be made to the American
