Robert M. “Mike” Mundell

Robert M. “Mike” Mundell, 60 of Tipton died at 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born January 3, 1957 in Tipton to David W. and Ethel Mae (Pedigo) Mundell.

Mike worked for the Tipton Street Department for 32 years, retiring this month. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Jeremiah Joseph Mundell and wife Amanda Rae, Indianapolis and Robert Michael Mundell, Jr. and wife Elizabeth Kay, Kokomo; one brother, Larry Allen Mundell and wife Judy, Tipton and one sister, Helen Mae Butcher and husband Bob, Tipton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Khloe Lynn Mundell, Brodie Isaac Mundell, Camri Rae Mundell, Mercedes Renae Mundell, Mya Nicole Mundell, Mariah Lynn Mundell, Cloey Fay Marie Mundell, Gabriel Joseph Mundell and Tristan Michael Mundell.

Mike was preceded in death by one brother, David Wayne Mundell.

Visitation for Mike will be Saturday, January 28 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. and Rev. Harvey McDaniel presiding. After cremation, graveside services for Mike will be conducted at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, at 3:00 p.m. the following Saturday, February 4.
