Robert J. Ross

Robert J. RossRobert J. Ross, 60, Kokomo died at 7:40 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008  at Waterford Place Health Care in Kokomo.  He was born in Elwood on May 20, 1948 to Joseph J. and Betty (Jack) Ross.Bob had retired from the Navy Reserves where he had served in the Vietnam conflict. He more recently had worked at Delphi in Kokomo where he was a production supervisor. He was a 1966 graduate of Tipton High School, received his MBA from Ball State and his law degree from Ohio Northern University.  Bob was a member of the Buick Club and enjoyed Corvettes.He is survived by his mother, Betty Ross, Kokomo; a daughter, Annie Ross, Ft. Wayne; a son Robert M. Ross, Markle; one brother, Jack A. Ross of Merritt Island, FL and three grand children.  He was preceded in death by his father and one grandchild.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13,  at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Reed presiding.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Tipton with military rites.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2723 S.
