Robert J. RichardsonRobert Joseph Richardson, 41 of Houston, Texas and formerly of Tipton died at 4:39 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at his residence after a brief illness.  He was born August 2, 1974 in Tipton to Patrick Grant & Judith Ann (Johnson) Richardson.Rob worked as a computer programming contractor.  He graduated from Tipton High School in 1992 and Indiana University, Bloomington in 1997 with a degree in Computer Science.  Rob was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church while living in Tipton.  He enjoyed scuba diving at shipwrecks near Florida and the Dominican Republic for underwater archeology expeditions.Rob is survived by his companion, Kathy Acosta and her grandchildren, Koreena, Clyde, Korey and Kourtney Fudge who lived with Kathy and Rob; and Kathy's extended family.He is also survived by his parents, Pat and Judie Richardson, Tipton; one sister, Deborah Long Carter and husband Bob, Doniphan, Missouri; four brothers, Stephen Richardson and his late wife, Dee, Republic, Missouri, Michael Richardson, Tipton, David Richardson and wife Paula Boener, Spencer, Indiana and John Richardson and wife Marla, Carmel.Rob is also survived by aunts & uncles, Dan Richardson and wife Barb, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Penny Ross and husband Ardy, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Judy Donovan and husband Larry, Andersonville, Tennessee, Mary Schomer and husband Mike, Dodgeville, Wisconsin and Dawn Falkenberg and husband Bruce, Rosemount, Minnesota.  He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph & Rose (Gilray) Richardson, Clarence Johnson and Nicholas & Beatrice (Bellisle-Johnson) Kass; three uncles, Dennis and Gerald Johnson and Larry Long; one cousin, Andy Ross.Cremation was the chosen form of disposition.  A memorial service will be held in Houston at a later date and Rob's family will celebrate his life with a private family gathering.  Memorial contributions in Rob's honor may be made to the Robert Richardson Memorial Fund at BMO Harris Bank, 110 East Jefferson Street, Tipton, Indiana, 46072 to help with the needs of Kathy's grandchildren.
