Richard A. Angell

Richard A. AngellRichard A. Angell, 75, Tipton, died at 11:25 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at St. Vincent  Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was  born in Tipton County on March 9, 1936 to Charles A. and Iris Jean (Roadruck) Angell.  Richard married Genevieve A. Bernardi on February 7, 1959 and she preceded him in death on April 27, 2011.Richard was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  He graduated from Windfall High School in 1955 and served in the Navy from 1955 to 1959.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and being with his family.  Richard had retired from Chrysler in 1996 where he had worked as a skilled tradesman in the gauge crib.Richard is survived one daughter, Barbara Larson and husband Jerry, Tipton; two grandchildren, Jonathan Larson and wife Kara of Lexington, KY and Anthony Larson, Tipton.  He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Angella Jean Marie Larson.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday , September 7, 2011 at  St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipton, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.  Burial with full military rites will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, with a Vigil service at 7:30 p.m.
