Phyllis J. CherryPhyllis J. Cherry, 81, Tipton, died at 9:36 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Riverview Hospital.  She was born on February 28, 1929 to Perry and Edna (Tyner) Barr.  She married Lester Freed Cherry on December 6, 1947, he predeceased her.Phyllis was employed at Tipton Hospital in the Housekeeping Department.Survivors include, 4 sons, and 1 daughter: Richard Cherry, Tipton; Mark Cherry, Michigan; Teresa Cull, Monticello; Randall Cherry, Tipton; and Lester Boyd Cherry of Tipton; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.Visitation and services will be private.  Burial will occur at the Sharpsville Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to: American Diabetes Association, 6415 Castleway W.
