Paul Richard TragesserPaul Richard Tragesser, 71 of Spencer died Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in Owen County, Indiana.  He was born in Tipton on February 1, 1937 to Paul and Louise (Garst) Tragesser.Paul was a retired carpenter. He played high school football and was senior class president.   He was the first president of the Tipton County Chamber of Commerce.  He loved to cook and garden. Paul served his country for 17 years in the United States Air Force.He is survived by his mother Louise Tragesser, Tipton,  four children, Paul Jameson Tragesser, Atlanta, Dawn Nichola Alcala, Churubusco, IN, Paula Diane Dollens, Cicero, and Westley Ian Tragesser, Tipton.  Paul is also survived by three siblings, Martha Johanne Redelman, Fairland, IN,  Sarah Louise Evens, Freedom, IN and David Tragesser, Tipton, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father Paul Tragesser.Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton with military honors.  No visitation is planned.  Arrangements are being handled by  Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton.
