Patricia A. "Patty" Vandevender

Patricia A. "Patty" VandevenderPatricia A. "Patty" Vandevender, 75, of Tipton died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 at I.U. Health Tipton Hospital.  She was born in Tipton County on August 12, 1936 to Basil and Edna (Adams) Teter.  She married Dale Vandevender on February 14, 1958, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2008.Patty was a homemaker.  She belonged to the Tetersburg Christian Church and the Willing Workers group at the church.She is survived by three children, Dennis Vandevender, Regina Neff, and Rick Vandevender, all of Tipton; two brothers, Jack Teter and Ron Teter of Tipton and one sister, Christina "Teny" Teter of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Evan and Trevor Vandevender, Mary, Jack and Abby Neff, and Josh and Jarryd Jefferies.  Patty has one great-grandchild, Mason Chaplin.  She was preceded in death by two brothers; Bill and Dan Teter.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Mangold presiding.  Burial will follow at Tetersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday  at the funeral home.Memorial donation may be made to the Tetersburg Christian Church, P.O.
