Patricia A. BrownPatricia A. Brown, 77 of Knoxville, Tennessee and a former Tipton resident died Monday, May 4, 2015 in Knoxville.  She was born April 4, 1938 in Howard County, Indiana to John C. & Marie (Landseadel) Brown.Pat was a Registered Nurse, working in Indiana, Arkansas and Tennessee before her retirement.  She was a 1955 graduate of Tipton High School and received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing from Indiana University.  She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Knoxville and had loved woodworking.Pat is survived by her very special, long-time friend, Judy Thompson of Knoxville, special friends Henry & Gloria Gilbert of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Judye Gribble of Knoxville; her special canine companion, Winston; three brothers and one sister, Robert Brown, Kokomo, Harriett Charles, Bedford, Indiana, John Brown and wife Nancy, Kokomo, and Richard Brown and wife Mary, Tipton.  She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Colleen Brown, Atlanta, Georgia and one brother-in-law, Bob Jones of Michigan.Nieces and nephews of Pat's include Douglas Brown and wife Molly, Darrell Brown and wife Dora, Curtis Brown and wife Kim, Craig Brown and wife Margaret, Pamela Stazesky, Linda Phillips and husband Bob, Theresa Bourff, Tracey Foddrill and husband Mark, Alex Brown and wife Beth, Tony Brown and wife Kim, Michelle Espinoza, Jeff Jones and wife Cheryle, Regina Johnson, Tony Jones and wife Becky, Amber Denham and husband Jody and Ryan Brown and wife Vanessa.She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Brown, one sister, Mary Jones, one brother-in-law, Bob Charles and one sister-in-law, Priscilla Brown.Pat's funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Melissa Grishaw presiding and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
