Nancy A. Pemberton

Nancy A. (Cook) PembertonNancy A. (Cook) Pemberton, 69 of Elwood died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood.  She was born in Tipton on April 1, 1941.  Nancy’s parents were George and Lillian Jean (Propes) Deppen.Nancy was a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She belonged to Amvets in Illinois.  Nancy was an avid bingo player and a member of the Southern Baptist Church.Survivors include one son, Jon Swallow, of Mississippi; two daughters, Arlena Chapman of Germany; and Stacy Guy of Elwood; siblings, Steve Linerode, Tipton, Richard Hodges, Kentucky, Linda Hodges Kruger, Colorado, and Carol Sizemore, Brazil, Indiana, and 11 grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one son, David Ray Deppen and a sister, Patricia Wright.No services are planned.  Cremation was chosen. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
