Myron "Maddog" Wise

Myron E. "Mad Dog" WiseMyron E. "Mad Dog" Wise, 66 of Kokomo, died at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at his residence in Kokomo.  He had previously lived in Tipton County for over 30 years.   Myron was born on August 22, 1949 in Kokomo to Max E. & Martha E. (Gates) Wise.  On September 9, 1972 he married Sherl K. Wise and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2008.Myron had worked for Chrysler at the Kokomo Transmission Plant, retiring in 2002.  He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Mad Dog enjoyed working on his antique Harley Davidsons and building his classic muscle cars.  "More power the better!"  He was a dedicated father and friend.  Deer hunting and fishing were two of his favorite pastimes.  He enjoyed his beloved Rottweilers, Duke and Ruby.Mad Dog is survived by two daughters, Tracy Kelley of Kokomo and Jessica Wise of Elwood; his mother Martha Wise; three siblings, Rick Wise of Kokomo, Kenny Keagan and Ramona; four grandchildren, Brett, A.J., Kelsey and Dakota Kelley; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Kayden, Colton and Kyrin.A memorial service with military honors for Mad Dog will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, September 11 at the Sharpsville Cemetery.    Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.
