Mike Dale Stout

Mike Dale Stout, 62 of Indianapolis and formerly of Tipton died Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Indianapolis. He was born in Tipton on June 23, 1960 to Robert Arnold and Theresa Eleanor (Wozniak) Stout.  He was never married.

Mike attended Kokomo High School.  He was driven to serve his country and did so in the Army and also the Navy. He enjoyed fishing, outdoor games especially basketball when he could coax his nieces into a game of “horse or pig”. He was a hard worker, helping his brother-in-law with many construction projects. More recently he could be found in the kitchen as a short order cook in various restaurants. Mike traveled throughout central Indiana and northern Kentucky over his adult life, just never quite settling down. If you knew Mike, he always had the “sneaky” smile and contagious laugh.  He was an avid reader, often found with a good book.

He is survived by his sisters: Cynthia Stout of Tipton, Mindy Bruin and husband Gordon of Parrish, Florida and Michelle Altherr and husband Pete of Tipton. He also has several nieces and nephews.
