Maxine Winner

Maxine E. WinnerMaxine E. Winner, 85 of Tipton, formerly of Sharpsville died January 26, 2007 at 9:00 p.m. at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.  She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 2, 1921 to Elmer and Freda (Veit) Marquardt.  Maxine married George D. Winner on June 28, 1946.  He preceded her in death on December 21, 1976.Maxine was a former member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge in Kokomo.She is survived by 5 children: Shirley Williams, Kokomo; Ken Winner, Floral City, Florida; Ronald Winner, Windfall; George Winner, Kokomo; and Tammy Baker, Sharpsville, 18 grand children, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 3 children, Charles Winner, Raymond Winner and Alice Jarrett, one brother and one sister.A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday January 31 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton with Rev. Arley Mitcham presiding.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, DAV Memorial Program,  P.O.
