Mary M. VanWinkleMary M. (Archer) VanWinkle, Tipton, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006 following a short illness.She was born April 30 in Afton, MO, to Jack & Alice Pennington, both deceased.  She was employed by St. Vincent’s New Hope and was a member of Harbour Shores Church in Cicero.She was the loving mother of Ron Shepard of Fishers, Michael T. Shepard of Arcadia, David D. Archer of Goldsmith and Tracy L. Huff of Tipton; loving sister to Jack B. Pennington of Ashland, OH and Vi L. Reynolds of Atlanta; loving grandmother and great grandmother.Preceding her in death are two sons, Jack L. Shepard and Stephen L. Shepard; two sisters, Shirley M. Cottner and Beverly A. Housh; and one brother, Walter E. Pennington.The family will receive friends starting at 10am on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Harbour Shores Church, 8011 E. 216th St., Cicero, followed by a public memorial service at 11am, Pastor Don Jennings II officiating.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton.The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbour Shores Church, 8011 E. 216th St., Cicero, IN 46034.Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton is handling arrangements.
