Mary Louise GilbertMary Louise Gilbert, 86 of Tipton died at 9:46 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Miller's Merry Manor.  She had lived in Autumnwood Village for the last 12 years.  Mary was born December 6, 1927 in Clyde, Missouri to William B. & Agnes (McCann) Doran.  On June 23, 1951 she married Arthur C. F. Gilbert and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2001.Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipton, a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska and was a Master Gardener.Mary is survived by two brothers, Charles C. Doran and wife L. Maxine, Tipton and James V. Doran and wife Esther, Joplin, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Patricia Doran, Maryville, Missouri.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jane M. Gilbert, and three brothers, W.B. Doran, Jr., Eugene Doran and Marvin Doran.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 21 at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maryville, Missouri.  Memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 340 Mill Street, Tipton, Indiana, 46072.Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
