Mary Keifer

Mary E. Keifer, 74 of Tipton died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on December 14, 1943 in Kempton to Romeo H. & Vera E. (Purdue) Poirier.

Mary was on the staff at the American Legion in Tipton.  She enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas, her dog Lilly and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Danny Keifer, New Albany, Sherry Dick, Tipton, Sheila Maddox and husband Shawn, St. James City, Florida and Shelly Kivett and husband Doug, Conway, Arkansas.  Mary is also survived by nine grandchildren, Nicholas Kivett, Whitney Kivett, Shandolyn Scott, Tiffany Messenger, Madison Keifer, Trevor Dick, Kerastin Dick, Sabrin Maddox and Shauna Maddox, 16 great-grandchildren and one brother, Russell Rood and wife Kathy, Sharpsville.

No services are planned.  After cremation she will be buried with her parents in Sharpsville Cemetery.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
