Mary Irene Beaty MorelandMary Irene Beaty Moreland, 95, of Tipton died at 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Tipton Hospital.  She was born June 7, 1915 in Tipton County to Ben & Alpha (Beaty) Smith.  On December 1, 1945 she married Robert Beaty and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1974.  She then married Glover B. Moreland on February 7, 1976 and he died on September 16, 1988.Irene retired from Carter's Supermarket in 1977.  She was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene, past president of the American Legion Auxiliary from 1954-55, and a member of 8 and 40.She is survived by two sons, Roland Earnest Beaty and wife Carleen, Greentown and Robert Edward Beaty and wife Maggie, Cicero; one daughter Iris Stone and husband Arby, Sheridan; four step-sons, Max Moreland, Atlanta, Georgia and Butch, Ronnie and Donnie Moreland, all of Tipton; four step-daughters, Beverly Toney, Elwood, Judy Rayle, Noblesville, Kay Weismiller, Thorntown and Shirley Rednour, Greenfield.Irene is also survived by four grandchildren Katie (Beaty) Ellis, Sharon (Stone) Moore, Debbie (Stone) McClay and Brian Stone; seven great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one brother, Emil Smith and two grandsons, Andy Beaty and Wesley Beaty.Irene's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Joshua Nichols presiding.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Monday.Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Tipton County, P.O.
