Mary G. (Badgley) StoneMary G. (Badgley) Stone, 80 of Tipton died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008  at Tipton Hospital.  She was born in Tipton County on April 29, 1928 to Charles O. and Ester A. (Gates) Badgley.  On  May 31, 1950 she married James R. Stone who preceded her in death on April 5,  1996.Mary retired from the Tipton Telephone Company after 42 1/2 years of service.  She was also a volunteer with the Department of Natural Resources for 30 years assisting in the rehabilitation of wildlife.Mary is survived by three children, Roberta A. Stewart  and husband Ed, of  Tipton, Stephen C. Stone and wife Missy, of Tipton and Jama M. Nelson and husband Ron, of  Kokomo.  She is also survived by five  grandchildren,  Tiffany L. Seekri, Lindsay M. Stone, Jarrod M. Morgan, Jaime L. Stewart , and Jeremy R. Stewart; five great grandchildren Burkely, Kensley, and Bridgely Seekri and Vinnie and Dylan Groves.  She was preceded in death by two brothers George H.  and Robert O. Badgley.Cremation was the chosen form of disposition. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2732 South Albright Rd. Kokomo, Indiana, 46902, or to the donor's favorite charity.
