Mary G. Carson

Mary G. CarsonMary G. Carson, 88, Tipton, died at 5:10 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Millers Merry Manor.  She was born February 15, 1921 in Madison County to Ralph Leroy & Ola Dail (Shell) Perry.  In 1938 she married Charles Caylor and he died in 1946. She then married Wayne Carson in January 1949 and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2009.She was a beautician and  a member of the Kempton United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Rosary Chapter 66 in Tipton.Mary is survived by three sons, James Caylor and wife Linda, Lebanon, Dale Caylor and wife Geri, Avoca, MI, Larry Caylor, San Antonion, TX; two daughters: Marla Featherstone and husband Frosty, Tipton and Darlyn Lou Hughes and husband Delaney of Bradenton, FL.  She has eight grandchildren, Valerie (Kevin) Stapleton, Doug (Michelle) Caylor, Josh (Lori) Featherstone, Rob (Christine) Featherstone, Brett (Terri) Curnutt, Jill (Kenny) Howerton, Julie (Gary) Grinstead, Scott (Andrea) Curnutt; 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by one great-grandson.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton with Rev. Melissa Grishaw presiding.  Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday  at the funeral home.
