Marty L. Bond

Marty L. BondMarty L. Bond, 60 of Tipton died on Friday, September 12, 2014 at his residence.  He was born in Indianapolis on February 2, 1954 to John E. Bond, Sr. & Nancia L. (Hawkins) Bond.Marty was the owner/operator of Compton's Hardware in Tipton.  He was a member of the Tipton Masonic Lodge, served on the Tipton City Council form 2008-2011 and had also served on the Atlanta Town Council.He is survived by one brother, Randy Bond and wife Sandee, Westfield; three sisters, Dana L. Eller, Noblesville, Vickie B. Bond, Westfield and Alice J. Bond, Fishers; his good friend, Brian Southerland.  Marty was preceded in death by two brothers, Jebbie and Jerry Bond.At Marty's wish, no funeral services are planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 237, Tipton, Indiana, 46072.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
