Marjorie M. KelleyMarjorie M. Kelley, 93 of Kokomo and formerly of Sharpsville died at
1:10 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Brookdale Senior Living in
Kokomo. She was born on May 4, 1922 in Sharpsville to Olis &
Polly (Siler) Tyner. On October 12, 1940 she married William
W. Kelley and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1998.Marjorie was a beautician and housewife. She graduated from
Prairie Township High School Class of 1940 and from the Fox Beauty
School. Marjorie was a 75-year member of Sharpsville Order of
Eastern Star, a Mother Advisor of the Order of Rainbow for Girls,
and a member of the Sharpsville Methodist Church. She was an
impeccable seamstress of clothing, doll clothes, and quilts.
Marjorie and her husband were the owners of Shady Kennels for 51
years.She is survived by two daughters and one son, Candace (Kelley)
Howard and Gerald Williams of Indianapolis, Michael Brent Kelley and
wife Linda, Sharpsville and Norie Adams, Russiaville; two sisters,
Norma Jean Simpson, LaPorte and Cheryl Ann Stakelbeck, Kokomo.Marjorie is also survived by five grandchildren, Lance Adams and
wife Chrissy, Christopher Kelley and wife Christy, Robin Head and
husband Bret, Eric Adams and wife Julie, Heather Terry and husband
Mike; ten great-grandchildren, Tyler Adams and wife heather, Derik
Adams and wife Aubrey, Bailey Kelley, Brogan Terry, Garrett Kelley,
Kendall Head, Emily Terry, Regan Head, Noah Adams, Grayson Adams;
four great-great-grandchildren, Brailyn Adams, Landen Adams, Cooper
Adams, and Camden Adams. She was preceded in death by one
sister, Charlotte Joy Warner.Funeral services for Marjorie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday, April 28 at Normanda Christian Church with Steve
Brown presiding and burial to follow in Sharpsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 -
11:00 a.m. Thursday all at the church. Young-Nichols Funeral
