Marjorie E. Gossard

Marjorie E. GossardMarjorie E. Gossard, 82 of Frankfort died Friday, July 27, 2007 at 3:40 a.m. at Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo.  She was born in Johnson County, Indiana on January 26, 1925.  Her parents were Samuel and Ethel (Dailey) Johnson.  She married Maurice Gossard on December 24, 1942, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2000.Marjorie was retired from Clinton Central High School where she had been secretary.  She was a member of the Kempton Methodist Episcopal Church and belonged to the Retired Secretary Association.She is survived by one son; Samuel and wife Wendy Gossard of Westfield and one daughter; Carol and husband Mike Ward of Sharpsville.  Marjorie has 7 grandchildren; Melissa Litka, Brian Ward, David Ward, Marcus Gossard, Heather Gossard, Heidi King and Jeff May; 7 great-grandchildren and one brother, Kenneth Johnson of Gulfport, Mississippi.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 31, at the Kempton Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Richard Covert presiding.  Burial will be at the Kempton Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton and also Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.Memorial donations may be made to: Kempton Methodist Episcopal Church.
