Marjorie Ann Warner, 92 of Tipton died at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Tipton on February 27, 1922 to Raymond and Nellie (Presler) Little. On August 12, 1951 she married Leon E. Warner and he survives.
Marjorie was a homemaker. She belonged to the West Street Christian Church, Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Tipton County Historical Society. She also enjoyed assisting with the Meals on Wheels program in Tipton.
Along with her husband Leon, she is survived by two sons; Scott Warner of Lafayette, and Brian Warner and wife Lisa, of Hope, Indiana, three grandchildren; Caleb Warner and wife Jennifer, Emily Vega and husband Seth, and Cassandra Warner; three great grandsons Logan, Preston, and Drake. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law William R. and Irene Little.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 11, at Young Nichols Funeral Home with the family presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
