Margie A. HenryMargie A. (Wright) Henry, 78, Tipton, died at 5:18 p.m. Saturday,
July 31, 2010 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton. She was born
May 12, 1932 in Cincinnati to Carl & Alta (Fowl) Wright. On
June 23, 1951, in the rectory at St. John the Baptist Catholic
Church she married Raymond E. "Gene" Henry and he survives.Margie helped her husband Gene run his Bryant Heating & Cooling
business beginning in 1967. After 46 years of managing a
household and raising her children, she went to work at the St.
Joseph Center as a receptionist, thoroughly enjoying that for ten
years.She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she
volunteered in many areas. She served 10 years on the board of
directors of the Tipton County Mustard Seed and was a member of the
Sacred Heart Study Club.Margie and Gene loved to dance, whether it was lively square dancing
or a romantic dance to their song "Moonlight Serenade". They enjoyed
spending time with their family and friends and were always willing
to help at numerous church and county events.Margie is survived by the love of her life for the past 59 years,
Gene; five children, Suzette Bills and husband Ronnie, Potomac,
Illinois, Lynette Baeza and husband Faustino, Odessa, Texas, Annette
Workman and husband Don, Avon, Juliette Coston and husband Gary,
Alexandria and Barry Henry and wife Jannett, Hendersonville,
Tennessee; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Henry, Indianapolis.She is also survived by two sisters, LaVonne Parsons, Kokomo and
Carol Jackson and husband Jim, Galveston; one sister-in-law,
Bernadine Henry, Tipton; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren
with another one on the way; several nieces and nephews.Margie was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Allen Henry and
Raymond William Henry and one brother, Carl William Wright.Personal tribute for Mom: "Mom, your legacy will live forever
within us all. You taught us the basics of life itself.
Your courage, strength and love is a never-ending gift we can pass
along to others throughout our lifetime. While we may never
know exactly how you did it, we just know, you taught us well.
We love you."Margie's funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5 at St.
John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be
from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home where
the Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. and a Wake Service will be
