Margaret E. Worden

Margaret E. WordenMargaret E. Worden, 99 of Tipton died Friday, July 26, 2013 at her residence.  She was born January 4, 1914 in Richland Center, Wisconsin to Grant & Della (Shannon) Goplin.  On June 18, 1935 she married William W. Worden and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1997.Along with her husband she had owned and operated the Gamble Hardware store in Tipton.  Margaret was a member of the Kemp United Methodist Church.  She graduated from Richland Center High School in 1932 and Richland County Normal in 1933.Survivors include three children, Ronald Worden and wife Rene, Arizona, Gary Worden and wife Cheryl, Wisconsin and Linda Delph, Tipton; eight grandchildren, Kevin Worden, Dana Worden, Kelly Worden, Michael Worden, Tamera Delph-Hargis, Damian Delph, Steve Halbrader and Jim Halbrader; six great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.Margaret's funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on  Tuesday, July 30 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Collier presiding.  Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, July 31 in Richland Center Cemetery in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.Memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice through the funeral home.
