Mabel B. CallahanMabel B. Callahan, 89, 610 E. North Street, Tipton, died at 12:25 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2006, at Autumnwood Extended Care.  She was born April 26, 1916, in Tipton County to John A. & Lilly (Scott) Moore.  She married Ralph Shupperd and after his death she married Francis Callahan. He is also deceased.She worked as a sales clerk at Bryan's Hardware in Tipton and retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo in 1975. Mabel was a member of the Church of Christ.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved to cook, garden and play cards.She is survived by one daughter, Anita Heflin and husband Don, Tipton; one granddaughter, Lisa Weaver and husband Tom; and one great-grandson, Joshua Weaver and wife Kara.Three brothers, Walter, Scott & Charles Moore and three sisters, Lena Moore, Esther Goodnight & Inez Moore are deceased.Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, with Rev. Janice Burns-Watson presiding and burial to follow.  There will be no visitation.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
