Lynda J. Mccroskery

Lynda J. McCroskery, 61 of Tipton died at 7:18 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Golden Living – Sycamore Village in Kokomo. She was born October 19, 1952 in Merced, California to William & Joan (Lewis) Wilkerson. On January 23, 1971 she married Glenn McCroskery and he survives.

Lynda was a homemaker and author. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Orthodox Church in Kokomo.

Survivors besides her husband Glenn include three sons, Matthew McCroskery and wife Kathryn, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Andrew McCroskery, Seattle, William McCroskery and wife Betsy, Goldsmith; three sisters and one brother, Terry Heintz and husband David, Phoenix, Traci Powell and husband Tim, Pataskala, Ohio, Mark Wilkerson and wife Tracy, Tipton, Kimberly Bakke and husband Jeff, Mt. Bethel, Pennsylvania. Lynda is also survived by two grandchildren, Delaney McCroskery and Liam McCroskery.

Funeral services for Lynda will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24 at St. Thomas the Apostle Orthodox Church, 914 W. Taylor Street, Kokomo, with Fr. Philip Lashbrook presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, is in charge of the arrangements.
