Linda K. (Moss) Spivey

Linda K. (Moss) Spivey, 69 of Windfall passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in Tipton at her son’s home. She was born on December 3, 1955 in Hobbs to Elbert Jay & Neva Nell Moss. 

Linda loved caring for her pets, especially her Chihuahua named Pedro. She enjoyed going to rummage sales, playing bingo and listening to old classic country music.

She is survived by her mother of Tipton; two children, Terry Wood and wife Barbi of Tipton and Elizabeth Balser of Tipton. Linda also has one sister, Glenda Muncie and husband Chris Wright of Kempton as well as a sister-in-law, Margie Moss of Tipton. She has five grandchildren, Nick Wood, Zakk Jarrell and wife Macy, Braydon Wood, Leah Jarrell and husband Jason and Cerena Thatcher and husband Drew.

Linda’s nieces and nephews are Cheyenne, Alexia, Brielle, Jaxsen, Angel and Rayann. She is also survived by her best friend for 52 years, Brenda.

Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Moss, one daughter, Dianna Wood and one granddaughter, Haley Brown.

A funeral service for Linda will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Joe Plake presiding. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
