Linda K. Phillips

Linda K. PhillipsLinda K. Phillips, 52 of Fishers died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at her residence.  She was born in Tipton on December 31, 1962 to Robert E. and Priscilla (Johnson) Brown.  In 1987 she married Robert A. Phillips, and he survives.Linda was a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics, retiring in 2014.  She was a member of itown Church in Fishers and belonged to Delta Gamma Sorority at Ball State.  Linda earned her RN and Nurse Practitioner degrees from IU and continued with the program for many years as a Clinical Professor.Survivors include her husband Bob, daughter Kristen Cernero, son Andrew Phillips, and a grandson Malachi Cernero, all of Fishers; one sister, Pam Stazesky.  Also surviving is her father Robert Brown, and maternal grandfather Alfred Johnson.A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Townsend presiding.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent Breast Center, 8550 Naab Road, Suite 300, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260, for breast cancer research. .
