Leah L. GarmanLeah L. Garman, 99, Tipton, died at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2006 at Autumnwood Extended Care in Tipton.  She was born October 11, 1906, in Tipton County to Jack & Minnie (Hobbs) Click.  On January 9, 1926, she married Charles W. Garman and he died September 10, 1996.She was the retired owner of Marilyn's Beauty Salon and a member of Hobbs United Methodist Church.  Leah belonged to the Order of Eastern Star Rosary Chapter 66, Tipton County Concert Society and was a Charter Member of D.A.R.  She was also a Charter Member of Homecraft Home Ec. Club and was a 1925 graduate of Tipton High School.Leah is survived by two sons, Charles W. "Bill" Garman, Jr., Tipton and Jack Garman, Elwood; one daughter, Marilyn Patterson, Estero, Florida; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 19, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. James Cline presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
