Larry A. Jung

Larry A. Jung, 53 of Tipton died on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his residence.  Larry was born in Tipton on March 15, 1966 to Tim & Tony (Russell) Jung.  He had worked in Quality Control at ELSA in Elwood.  Larry had previously worked as manager at the Clark station in Tipton and as manager at Taco Bell.

Larry was a member of Tipton High School Class of ’84.  Earlier in life he loved to golf and play basketball at the park.  He had served as a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed Fantasy Football where he once had an unbeaten season.

Larry is survived by one son, Zach Jung; three brothers, Ted Jung and wife Renee, Alexandria, Virginia, Matt Jung and wife Kristen, Madison, Indiana, and H.R. Jung, South Bend.

Larry’s funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Goth presiding.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Memorial contributions in Larry’s honor may be made to Boy Scout Troop 595 through the funeral home.
