Kenneth E. Bozell, 92 of Tipton passed away peacefully at 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton. He was born on April 28, 1919 in Tipton County to Ralph & Ethel (Bryan) Bozell. On October 17, 1943 he married Margie Neff at the West Street Christian Church and she survives.
Kenneth was a life-long Tipton County resident and retired farmer. The Bozell farm at RR4 was family-owned for more than 150 years. He was also employed for many years at Pioneer Corn Company. Kenneth was a member of the Masonic Fraternity for more than 60 years. He joined DeMolay as a youth and became a member of Austin Masonic Lodge in Tipton and the Murat Shrine Horse Patrol.
Survivors besides his wife include one daughter, Linda D. Draves and husband Frederick J. Draves III of Las Vegas; two granddaughters, Angel Burns and husband Richard of Bristol, Wisconsin and Amy L. Burns-Schulz and husband J.P. of Chesterfield, Virginia; three great-grandsons, Ayden and Owen Burns and Jakob Burns. Nieces Karen Dunham and husband Dwane, Tipton and Pat Bender, Colorado, nephews Larry, Jeff and Ron Neff, all of Tipton.
Kenneth's funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Linda McKiernan-Allen presiding and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Saturday with a Masonic Service at 1:30.
