Kathy Mae Warren

July 14, 1960 — June 10, 2024

Tipton County

Kathy (Moore) Warren, born on July 14, 1960, in England, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was the daughter of William and Vajen (Conaway) Moore. She met the love of her life, Roy Warren, and they celebrated their union by marrying on New Year's Day in 1983. They shared a beautiful journey together until Roy's passing on December 26, 2007.

Kathy was a graduate of Tipton High School and attended Ball State University, which paved the way for her career in dietary services until her retirement. Ever one to remain active, she retired from her second career at Amazon in 2022.

A devoted member of the Abundant Life Church, Kathy found joy in her faith and community. She had a passion for her flower garden, enjoyed berry picking, and loved fishing. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family, particularly her cherished great-grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her children, Jeremy Moore and his significant other Amber Gillmore of Atlanta, Indiana, and her daughter Nicole (Warren) Stewart and her husband Austin, also of Atlanta: her father William Moore and wife Jan. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Jordan Pruitt and his wife Skiona, and Hailey Parsons; and her precious great-grandchildren, Jasper and Preslie Pruitt. Kathy is also survived by her brothers, Michael Moore and his wife Brenda of New London, Wisconsin, and J.A. Moore and his wife Angie of Atlanta.

She is preceded in death by her mother Vajen, her beloved husband Roy, and her brother David Moore.

Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours on Saturday, June 15, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, with memorial services following at 4:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society, 10501 Hague Rd, Fishers, Indiana, 46038, reflecting Kathy's love and compassion for all living creatures. Young-Nichols is honored to assist her family in their time of need.
