Kathy BrockettKathy Brockett, 66 of Bloomington and formerly of Tipton, Kokomo, and Noblesville died at 6:56 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.  She was born October 25, 1947 in Elwood to Richard & Wilna (Hunter) Warfel.Kathy was a 1965 graduate of Tipton High School and had attended Indiana Business College.  She enjoyed reading, arts & crafts, playing with her granddaughter and spending time with family and friends.She is survived by one daughter, Karri Brockett, Bloomington; one son, Kevin Brockett, Kokomo; one granddaughter, Jessica Brockett; two sisters, Sandy Ridenour, Tipton and Sharon Landis, Noblesville; one brother, Richard Warfel, Punta Gorda, Florida.Kathy's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Steve Brown presiding and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Road, Suite 140, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46250.
