Kathleen M. "Katie" RichardsKathleen M. "Katie" Richards, 89, Tipton, died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton. She was born March 21, 1918, in Frankfort to Glen & Bertha Carter.  She married George Edward Richards and he died November 7, 1973.She had worked at Indiana Gas Company and was a member of the West Street Christian Church.  Katie belonged to the Lady Elks, Women of the Moose and was active in the Tipton County Art Association.She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Rogers Reinbeau, Lakeview, Arkansas; two sons, Larry Richards, Muncie and Charlie Richards, Howe, Indiana; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.Her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Burns-Watson presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
