Karen E. King

Karen E. KingKaren E. King, 66 of Tipton died at 8:53 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.Karen was very active in the greater Tipton area.  She served on several boards, including Encore and the Tipton Art Guild.  Karen also informally mentored young business professionals.  She also was the owner/operator of King & Company.Karen is proceed in death by her spouse, Fred G. King.  Fred and Karen were married in 1978 and lived in Tipton for over 30 years.Karen enjoyed visiting her extended family, watching Little League baseball and socializing with her friends.Karen was cremated and will be interred at the Fitch Family Mausoleum in Youngstown, Ohio along with her husband.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.At her request,  there will not be a formal memorial service.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Encore Lifestyle & Enrichment Center,  341 W.
