Kaleb A. Fowler, 17 of Windfall and a Junior at Tri-Central High School died on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Tipton County as the result of an auto accident. Kaleb was born July 9, 2000 in Kokomo to Brian P. & Julie A. (Walter) Fowler.
He enjoyed helping his mother with her flower shop, Mama J’s Flower Patch in Tipton. While attending school at Tri-Central, Kaleb played football and baseball as well as singing in the choir. He recently performed in the spring musical, Bye Bye Birdie. Kaleb had received the Gold Key award for Digital Imaging.
Kaleb belonged to the youth group “The Revolution” at Fairfield Christian Church in Kokomo. He enjoyed playing Clash of Clans and video games. Kaleb was a really good brother and son and was always smiling. He never knew a stranger and was always there to help the little guys. His favorite activity was just hanging out with his family and friends.
Survivors besides his parents include two brothers, Gabriel and Izaiah, and one sister, DeLila; grandparents Ronald & Cheryl Fowler, Kokomo; aunts and uncles, Scott Walter, DeeAnn Hart and husband Cevven, Chris Fowler, Ashleigh Fowler, Meredith Fowler and Dot Elliott; several cousins and his girlfriend, Shyla Phifer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents David & Myrtle Walter.
Funeral services for Kaleb will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6 at Fairfield Christian Church, 1476 East 400 South, Oakford, Indiana, 46965 with Pastors Lynn Coleman and Jay Bennett presiding. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, all at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Young-Nichols Funeral Home.
