June Vanbibber

June VanBibberJune VanBibber, 93, Frankfort and a former Tipton County resident died at 9:35 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Wesley Manor.  She was born June 27, 1914 in Tipton County to James E. & Leona (Smith) Dawson.  She married Ward VanBibber June 27, 1937 in her parent's home and he died September 7, 1985.June lived all her life on the family farmstead where she was born until she moved to Wesley Manor in 2000.  She was a life member of Hopewell Methodist Church until it closed.  Since then she has been a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Kokomo and its Joy Class and Faith circle.She was a past district president of the United Methodist Women.  June was a charter member of the Rural Progress Home Demonstration Club.  She belonged to the Kokomo Travel Club and the Indiana Farm Bureau.June is survived by one nephew, Joe VanBibber, and one great-nephew, Chris VanBibber.Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, with Rev. Larry Newberg officiating.  Burial will be in the Sharpsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 219 W.
